  • Participate in the execution of all the activities related to the design, development, implementation, support, maintenance, and upgrade of SAP new modules and features.

  • Diagnose reported issues and try to resolve them using available information resources and researches.

  • Escalate unresolved issues or those requiring urgent attention to concerned consultant or Senior consultant.

  • Track requests and document resolutions.

  • Participate in the on-the-job training and preparation and update of training materials to end users.

  • Respond to requests for support/assistance in person, via phone or electronically.

  • Develop ABAP programs according to the required specifications include conversions, reports, forms, enhancements, and interfaces.

  • Perform the necessary testing to ensure the quality of the delivered solutions.

  • Stay current with SAP new functionalities, trends, solutions, best practices.

  • Prepare activity reports.

  • Document all SAP related activities.

COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:


A clear understanding about the complexities of the internal (company) and external (marketplace) environments in which the position operates.


 Examples of external complexity factors: economic environment; competitive market conditions; trade structure; social/political/labour structures and environments; corporate affairs/mass media environment; technological environment; etc…


Internal:


  • Business owners, super users and Users in all business units and departments in Egypt Dubai, Libya, Iraq, Ghana & Uganda.

  • All SAP consultants and associates within the BS team.

  • SAP technical teams (Basis and ABAP).

  • Data center and Security teams.

External:


  • Vendors (SAP) & Service Providers (local, regional and global SAP-Partners)

  • Independent Dealers and ASO’s.

  • Auditors and Tax authorities.

  • Manufacturer/Trade suppliers (IT, business, auditors, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business informatics or equivalent.

Minimum Experience:


  • 3+ years of experience in overseeing the design, development and the implementation of software solutions.

  • 1+ years of experience in leading SAP environment with at least one full implementation cycle.

  • 4+ years of experience in programming

  • Experience in the automotive industry is a significant advantage.

  • Experience in SAP IS-Automotive is a plus.
    SAP (MM) or any other SAP Module knowledge – advantage.
