• Manages project development from initiation to closure and will be accountable for project results
• Works with the project sponsor and stakeholders to complete the project charter and the statement of work, outlining the scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing
• Ensures that complete requirements have been gathered and documented
• Completes the work breakdown structure to estimate effort required for each task
• Provides a project schedule to identify when each task will be performed and by which team member
• Provides appropriate communications to the project sponsor and stakeholders and manage clear expectations
• Resolves issues and problems as they arise throughout the project’s life cycle
• Identifies risks and risk mitigation plans
• Manages project scope by ensuring that any changes to the scope are documented and approved by the project sponsor using project change request forms
• Identifies and track project milestones and the critical path, while providing status reports to the project sponsor and the PMO
• Leads and motivates project team members on a proactive basis, and keeps projects on time and within budget
• Determines how project success will be measured and conducts a post-project evaluation to determine how well results were achieved
• Ensures that all project documents have been safely stored and are accessible to the project team
