Reports to:
Senior Executive Vice President as well as supporting General Supervisor Media Services
Key Internal Interfaces:
• Group Finance Director
• Finance Department
• Heads of Business Units
• Senior VP Business Development
General Purpose of Role:
Assist SEVP in driving business performance and decision making via the use of both financial information and non-financial data.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
1. Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance of Business Units
2. Develop and maintain standard budgeting models for Business Units
3. Production of Consolidated Group Budgets (including Balance Sheets and Cash Flows)
4. Prepare quarterly updates on full year outcome for Senior Management and Board
Bid Modelling
1. Prepare Financial models for bids (Outdoor and other media including P&Ls and cashflows)
2. Summarize bidding price options for go no go and pricing decisions
Performance Analysis:
1. Develop and maintain dashboards for Divisional performance including key financial and non -financial data.
2. Working with Group FD prepare quarterly financial presentations for the Board.
New Business Opportunities and Investments:
1. Support SEVP and Head of Business Units to model new business options
2. Work with SEVP and SVP Business Development on review and analysis of potential investment opportunities.
Presentations:
1. Assist in the preparation of presentations for 3rd parties including banks and potential business partners.
Cost Effectiveness:
1. Assist SEVP and Group FD in monitoring monthly costs
2. Prepare analysis for cost saving initiatives including outsourcing of services
3. Monitor delivery of cost reductions.
Market and Competitor Analyses:
1. Identify economic and market trends and make recommendation on these to senior management
2. Gather information on market competitors and prepare updates for senior managers, including financial estimates for competitors.
Policies and Procedures:
1. Assist Head of Internal Audit in developing / changing policies and procedures to ensure business controls are robust.
General Support to SEVP;
Ad-hoc support for SEVP and GS Media as required.
