Job Purpose:
• The job holder is responsible for assisting management in overseeing all elements of the Club's golf-related activities resulting in an exceptional overall golf experience for Club members and guests. Provides top quality individual and group instruction to guests.
Key Performance Indicators
1. Customer Related
• The effectiveness of annual objectives and activities plans
• Quality of Golf operations
2. People Related
• The effectiveness of coordination between Golf team
3. Process Related
• Achievement of quality improvements as agreed by the Quality Committee
• Implementation of policies, processes, and standards to govern the activities of the Golf operation
4. Finance Related
• Management of costs within the defined budget
Roles and Responsibilities
• Present a professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintain an excellent standard of customer service.
• Conducts day-to-day activities and ensures driving range and bag room area are consistent with Club policy.
• Provides quality private lessons and group clinics.
• Assists the management with all aspects of the golf program.
• Provides and interprets golf policies, rules and regulations.
• Provides members with club fitting and golf club repair services.
• Assists in the coordination of tournaments and special events as required.
• Prepares, updates and maintains tee sheets and tournament scoreboards for tournaments and events.
• Writes golf articles for the newsletter as requested.
• Performs starter or marshal duties as needed.
• Devotes a reasonable amount of time to play golf with guests of all skill levels.
• Maintains playing ability and works to stay competitive in all areas of their game.
• Be flexible in your job role and willing to assist in all other duties, within reason, as requested by your manager according to training you have been given.
• Perform other requested duties related to work
