Strategy
Develop strategic plans of IT department to meet the present and future required IT services
Policies, Processes and Procedures
Design, develop and implement policies, processes and systems/procedures in order to ensure the efficient and effective operations of the IT department.
Job Specific Accountabilities
Manage all modules of SAP by deploying in-house and outsource teams
Design and execute all SAP / IT project in accordance with the approved budget.
Design and implement contingency plan for the data recovery and disaster recovery
Accountabilities
Interacting with the management for all the Management KPI’s and incorporating the same in the Management Cockpit along with the team.
Coordinate with BPO’s for utilization of SAP and its relevant products.
Planning, Documenting and execution of all Quality audits for all the IT projects along with the respective IT Section managers.
Oversee the hiring process of the new recruits (SAP consultants / IT) for the department
To set up the road map for all the IT Department employees along with the charter plans for the road map.
To propose and evaluate the business process enhancements relevant to IT and discuss the same with the respective BPO’s and execute the same.
To study the new Technology / Requirements for Infrastructure / SAP / Reporting and prepare the road map for implementing the same.
Set the targets for all the IT section managers and monitor their executions.
Prepare / Review / modify the IT documentation files based on the business requirements.
Timely SLA reviews with the SAP outsource implementation partners / consultants.
Prepare, Review and facilitate the training calendar for the SAP / IT for BPO’s / Core Members / End Users along with the outsource team and in-house team.
Try to find the solution to resolve the issues which is not as part of standard SAP along with several business partners / consultants / BPO’s.
Motivate the department employees to play vital role in their specified areas and send them for the respective training and build resource team.
Manage the IT external vendor relationship to provide better services to our organization / department.
Execute all the new features of all the Layers from Network layer, Database Layer, Application Layer.
Review the outsourced services with the consultants and their management for setting up the targets and goals to achieve every year for an effective deliverables
Prepare the security features relevant to IT and implement / monitor the same along with the Implementation partners / section managers.
Setup the policy and procedures for the IT department activities in the organization.
To understand the CEO / President / management committee’s requirement for the IT department and prepare the plan and execute the same.
Prepare the contingency plan for the data recovery along with the business partners / IT team in case of any Disaster and bring back the operations to normal as per the standard industry norms.
Propose the cost effective solutions for the entire organization in all areas relevant to IT.
Setup the goals and objectives for the IT department / all personnel’s in IT department
Continuous Improvement
Leads the management of change through continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, changes in international standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans
Reporting
Review department reports for accuracy and in order to ensure that they conform with Company and department requirements, policies and standards
Budget
Prepare the overall budget for the IT Department and thoroughly monitor the same to keep the cost of IT Operations within the allocated budget
People Management
Direct the process of effective IT department performance, overseeing performance management, recruitment, training and development of staff to ensure high level of engagement and a motivated work environment
Safety, Health & Environment
Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures across the department in order to promote a healthy and safe work environment
