• Participating in the development of strategies and objectives of the department
• Establishing operational structure for all units and detailed policies and procedures
• Developing and managing the execution of short-term plans for implementing the approved objectives.
• Monitoring the workflow within the department and ensuring that all preventive and corrective actions are being made promptly.
• Developing the department’s budgets and managing the activities within towards achieving the set budget..
• Preparing, coordinating & managing the development and implementation of WH, logistics and quality programs.
• Managing the WH , logistics operations, order planning , maintenance, quality assurance and control to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, service levels, customer satisfaction and integrity
• Evaluating performance of the team in compliance with approved appraisal forms and recommends best actions
• Staying up-to-date of applied laws and regulations and maintaining continuous compliance with general and specific accounting principles.
• Maintaining and improving performance of the unit on a continuous basis including cost analysis and monitoring of processes
• Working with the management team to develop and grow the business and finding new opportunities falls under his responsibility like finding new contractors, new warehouses, new systems, new shipping agencies….etc for the sake of better price, service and quality
• Negotiating major agreements and contracts
• visiting suppliers and customers to ensure quality levels are met
• Developing periodic reports related to the activities of the department and forwarding them to the CEO.
• Recommending training aspects to subordinates & evaluating the outcomes of development and reflecting them on work requirements.
