Job Description
- We are seeking a Section Head, Distribution to join SIPCHEM organization in Jubail, Saudi
Arabia. - The Outbound Logistics Section head organize the storage and distribution of goods, which often involves using complex IT and telecommunications systems. They plan and manage the movement of goods in a supply chain, liaising with many parties including suppliers of raw materials, manufacturers, retailers and consumers.
- Outbound Logistics Section Head need an awareness of strategic response to external influences, such as legislation, fuel costs and environmental pressures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Finalize product
sales plans and allocation to the Marketer - Negotiate and finalize the product lifting plans with the Marketers on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
- Follow up sending the products to the port and monitor the inventory for proper planning
- Receiving / accepting the vessels nominations from Marketer and checking for product availability
- Plan and follow up logistic process/ documents and ensure timely product delivery to the customers
- Manage and optimize utilization of affreightment (COA) to minimize freight cost
- Managing the SIPCHEM time charter vessel
- Manage contracts with carrier companies for local deliveries within Middle East and arrange all necessary shipping docs
