Financial Accounting
Prepares periodic ledger accounting and ensures that financial accounting transactions are accurately and properly reflected in the accounting books in accordance with accounting standards, PCC accounting policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, and any other relevant accounting principles and practices
Performs monthly closings and journal entries in order to generate concise and standardized accounting statements
Prepares all financial, accounting and year-end statements to both management and local authorities
Updates and reconciles the GL with all the transactions and activities, so as to enable the accurate monitoring and reporting of all transactions
Identifies, investigates and rectifies routine errors and discrepancies in data and reports so that all financial data can be relied upon
Provides clarification as required to all the departments in order to increase clarity concerning financial performance and accounting requirements
Ensures the archiving of all accounting records as per processes and procedures
Invoicing and Account Receivables
Coordinates with relevant departments in issuing bills and invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner
Manages accounts receivables ensuring the effective monitoring of all cash inflow through efficient reporting in financial statements
External / Internal Audit
As requested, liaises with and provides external/ internal auditors with relevant financial information in order to properly complete the audit process on time
Continuous Improvement
Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
Reporting
Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards
Related Assignments
Performs other related duties or assignments as directed on order to contribute to the continuous operations of the department
