Position Summary:
The successful candidate will report functionally to the Mechanical Department Manager and on a project basis to the Project Manager. Job Location will be either in JUBAIL or YANBU. The candidate will be the discipline engineer on the assigned project and experience shall include:
Lead Mechanical Engineer with experience in oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical and chemical projects in the design, selection and engineering of various types of Static Equipment (reactors, columns, vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, etc), Rotating Equipment (Pumps, Compressors and Drivers) and packaged equipment.
Projects involved shall include green field, brown field revamps, Studies, FEED and Detail Design and required experience in development of engineering/procurement documents including data sheets, technical specifications, equipment list, material requisitions (MRs), technical bid evaluations (TBEs) and vendor document review.
Knowledge of industry codes including API and ASME Code is essential.
Shall have strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, flexibility and ability to work under pressure to meet project milestone.
Candidate must have experience with man-hour estimation, staffing plans, progress reporting, site visits, interfacing with Clients and internally with engineering/project management.
