* Register patients in English and Arabic in appropriate Patient Registration form in complete, accurate and timely manner.
* Perform clerical functions, e.g. filing, typing, logging, retrieving medical record numbers and recording proper information in the computer.
* Help maintain an accurate bed control board as needed and in computer also.
* Prepare I.D. cards and bracelet for patients and patient’s escorts to the units as needed.
* Assign hospital Medical Record No. (MRN ) .
* Perform computer inquiries as necessary.
* Check appointment or ascertain needs of visitors/patients and direct them accordingly.
* Make OPD appointment / Admission appointment and give routine non-medical instructions to patients concerning their next visit admission.
* Answer questions and give information based on the knowledge of the hospital or department organization and regulations.
* Maybe requested to cover out-patient registration, emergency registration, in-patient registration area, Family & Community Medicine as needed.
* Ensure patients are eligible for treatment at Security Forces Hospital Program Dammam.
* Help with resolving problem between patients and admitting clerks.
* Help to implement all systems in the processing of admission.
* Comply with the standards laid down by the approved international & national accreditation standards.
